2012 USA Pro Challenge Gala Dinner

Let's Get It Started! The City of Durango and the USA Pro Challenge are proud to announce a very special evening with the official presentation of the riders and teams participating in the 2012 USA Pro Challenge. This exclusive event takes place during the Overall Start weekend in Durango, CO on Saturday, August 18th on the campus of Fort Lewis College, home to the 19x national champion collegiate cycling team.

Pro Challenge Experience presented by UnitedHealthcare

Sunday August19th – 7:00am – Durango

A challenging ride through some of the most difficult and scenic terrain in the world. Utilizing portions of the USA Pro Challenge Stage 1 route, the Pro Challenge Experience will give people the once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to ride like a pro. Featuring two distances, this historic bike ride and festival is open to cyclists of all ages. With 45 mile and 72 mile offerings riders can select the option that is best suited for their ability. Both rides begin at 7 a.m.. Cyclists participating in the 45-mile route can stop and celebrate at a festival hosted by Durango Mountain Resort. Amateur Time Trial Participation

Sunday August 26 - Denver

Ride the official time trial course – be one of a select few to experience the same precise timing as the world’s top pros, the cheers of the crowds lining the course, and professional officiating by UCI officials. This once in a lifetime experience is only available one day during the race and only to a limited number of riders. Riders will be contacted directly with details of the event.
