Team Argos-Shimano

Team Argos-Shimano

Team Argos-Shimano enters the 2013 season as a first time UCI World Tour team. The team is based in the Netherlands and consists of 28 pro riders. Riding well this year for Team Argos-Shimano is sprinter Marcel Kittel, who has multiple stage wins that include one at Paris-Nice, three at Tour of Turkey and two at Tour de Picardie, which he also won the overall and points. Team Argos-Shimano earned a stage victory this year from John Degenkolb at the Grio-d’Italia. The roster also includes Germany’s Patrick Gretsch, who won the first ever prologue in 2011 USA Pro Challenge, its inaugural year. The squad consists of only one American, Tom Peterson, who won a stage at the Tour of California in 2009. Team Argos-Shimano has a great team of young talent, look for them to shake things up with the other Pro Tour teams.
